Waikato-Tainui is dedicated to creating a better future for Waikato-Tainui whaanau, marae, hapuu and iwi.
Our goal as a tribal entity is to grow and develop future iwi leaders who are strong in their reo and tikanga, well connected to their marae and hapuu, living healthy lifestyles and are outstanding performers in their chosen field.
To support this growth and development we offer a range of programmes and opportunities to registered tribal members in a range of areas, including:
- Health and well-being
- Kaumaatua Medical Support
- Maatauranga Resources
- Marae Development
- Training Opportunities
- Tribal Knowledge and Preservation
- Tribal Representation Positions
We also have partnerships with various organisations and tertiary institutions. These partnerships enable us to combine our strengths to make Waikato-Tainui stronger, better, innovative and more successful.
For more information about the opportunities we offer email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 TAINUI (0800 824 684).
Please note, due to our charitable status only registered tribal members living in Aotearoa are eligible for grants and scholarships and some employment opportunities.
