“Ki te kotahi te kaakaho ka whati, ki te kaapuia, e kore e whati.”
The purpose of Te Pae Kaakaa is to strengthen the delivery of Te Reo Maaori and Tikanga on our Paepae. It is a series of waananga where our reo, tikanga and tribal knowledge is advanced for our future upholders of our paepae.
To be considered for selection, you must be registered to one of our 68 Raupatu marae, be 25 – 45 years of age and endorsed by your marae to participate. Te Pae Kaakaa caters for advanced learners or fluent speakers of te reo Maaori.
Te Pae Kaakaa will be delivered monthly throughout the year over 10 months and held on various marae within the Tainui rohe.
